DragonFly Concepts to Launch...stepping back into the music.

10 years ago I drove into Nashville with the idea of combining two passions in life. Country Music and the Internet. This task proved more difficult than expected. A couple of years ago DFC walked away from Music Row, Country Music and anything having to do with entertainment.

"I did not feel they were ready to tackle the projects that needed to be tackled. They did not have a good understanding of music fans on the internet. I suppose you could say I had become a bit jaded after working with some really great acts that did not have the time nor the budget to put behind the internet. Today I would just settle for "The Time it takes".

Once Again we are back to take another chance on Music. Why?

"Over the past few years I have taken a step back and watched closely at what has been going on with artists and online music. The growth in understanding has been great but there is still work that needs to be done. We have new opportunities to capture a market like we did not before. On the internet when you try to adapt so late on a marketing avenue it becomes useless and pointless. I want to help get Country Music there before the avenue has time to hit that dead end. I want Artists to be on the cutting edge and to leave behind statements that Music Row is 10 years behind the times. This time I intend to take baby steps. I am starting with the basics. I have spoken with a couple of artists that expressed an interest in knowing more about what they can do to help themselves online...My first glimpse back will be to see if any and WHO will respond and take action...in other words they can talk the talk but when it comes to the walk are they willing to even go there?"

Check back when DragonFly Concepts launches in November with a new Blog and Consulting site. No holding back. We plan to call it all out. The Good, The Bad and the upcoming talent being seen not only in Nashville but online as well. Who is doing it right? Who is just plain not getting it? This is going to be a interesting new start.
